The duties of a data entry operator include gathering and entering data into databases including keeping accurate records of important company data. The ideal applicant possesses key data entry abilities, including quick typing with attention to detail, knowledge of spreadsheets, and proficiency with online forms. A data team and data manager will be your coworkers. It will be advantageous if you have prior experience working as a data entry clerk or in a role comparable to that.
A successful data entry operator will ultimately be in charge of keeping our systems’ information correct, current, and useful.

- Data integrity and security policies must be followed.
- Ensure that office equipment is used properly and that any faults are addressed.
- Proven data entry work experience, as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk
- Experience with MS Office and data programs
- Familiarity with administrative duties
- Experiences using office equipment, like fax machines and scanner
- Typing speed and accuracy
- Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
- Attention to detail
- Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
- High school diploma; additional computer training or certification will be an asset.
